| The REMstar M Series sleep systems share a standardized CPAP and humidification platform that features the same smaller, easier-to-use, consumer-friendly platform. The new REMstar Pro M Series with C-Flex is a full-featured unit that gives patients more of what they want without taking away anything you need. The Remstar Pro M Series offers integrated humidification, lighted controls, an easy-to-read display and the revolutionary comfort of C-Flex. RemStar Pro also offers additional smart card download capabilities which offer daily compliance data and apnea hyponea index to determine effectiveness of treatment. A card (size of a credit card) can be removed from the device and taken to Healthstar Homecare Srvs for down load leaving the Remstar Pro at home. The data then can be sent to your physician to better follow and adjust your care.
C-Flex
C-Flex lowers the pressure at the beginning of exhalation when many people find therapy most uncomfortable. The amount of pressure relief is based on your breathing pattern and your C-Flex setting. With three C-Flex settings, you have the ability to select a greater or lesser degree of pressure relief that is right for you.
Your device should be set up with a preset C-Flex setting. You can try other settings by simply pressing the C-Flex button on the front of your device. You may also change the C-Flex setting using the control buttons and display screen. Press the right arrow to scroll to the C-Flex settings page. A screen with three C-Flex settings will appear. Use the C-Flex or plus and minus buttons to increase or decrease the setting. |
